They ain't the best or most appropriate dog but they'll give you some fun in the field. One I kept had a great nose, another didn't. Plenty of drive though and whatever they catch tends to stay caught.

 

 

 

Two great looking dogs, and your right you cant fault the prey drive and determination of these dogs and the powerful bite very little can/will escape

you're right, but as was said earlier they're not THE BEST at any form of hunting..
