That was a waste of £30!

Recommended Posts

My partner and i have just got back from Chatsworth Game Fair. After walking round in the hope of finding a nice slip lead and two longs nets it become clear after an hour or so i was going home without both :(

Maybe i did'nt search hard enuff, so i attempted to walk round again but lost faith quickly so decided to come home very un-happy... This is my second time to this fair, the last time bein 4years ago and to be honest there was alot more to it, i felt spoilt for chose 4years ago and i spent a fair bit of money too.

Today was a different story all together, with only paying £30 entrance fee and leaving with nothing... Grrr!!

If anyone does decent slip leads, not too big and bulky, made out of seat belt type material i'd be greatfull for a PM... I may have got a net suplier of here..

Here you go mate, they're aren't exactly very technical or anything

The ones I make now have the same sized loop at each end, easier to use.

They are £3 each or 4 for £10 inc postage.

I got your pm mate. I may aswell have 4 lol, i don't want a technical lead mate, just strait forward, no nonsence foldable slip lol.. I'll PM you

Cheers for the help lads

is it that bad?

I am going tomorrow with my wife and my parents.

We are going for the gundogs and gun stalls?

My mom and dad are going for the arts, crafts and to visit the house itself.

We both like watching the dog shows and the falconry.

we'll still go, but now i am disappointed to hear that, but i will keep it to myself.

I would check the website before you go as I'm sure the house is closed during the show?????

But could be wrong?

I am sure they just close the woodland bit, but the house remains open (that used to be the case 15 years ago)

I remember the fairs of old (15 to 20 years ago) and they were brilliant, everything was rather quite a bit cheaper than what it is now. But i still only go to one a year out of habit and this year is chatsworth, last year was belvoir and that wasn't too bad. I get Quinn (springer pup) on the 18th so that rules out Weston Park
