general running dog question

hi lad ive got a young bull cross 22 months old runs down the beam takes any thing

not botherd about teeth but the little shit if he dosent get it hunts up

any ideas lads ive been thinking about a collar but then thought it,s abit harsh

so just looking for abit of info atb chris

I know what your saying mate and its frustrating but your right a collar is a bit harsh. . . at the end of the day he's trying to get game, so its a bit conflicting. If you were using him in the day time as well it would be a good thing. My advice i guess would be to work on the recall, so that he comes back as son as you whistle and then as soon as you turn off lamp. I've seen dogs that will hunt up a treat in the day and not do so at night. Good luck.

but what i for got to say when ran with another dog the little sod comes stright back when the beams off lol
