help with my bsa hornet multishot

hello there i have just got my bsa hornet multishot pcp back from bsa after having a major service and i went out shooting last night and i just didnt feel the gun was any good i was using fairly heavy pellets what i thought may help ... does any one know what sort of pellets these guns like for best power/accuracy or shall i just change to a decent springer ??

hello dan mine(when i had it) liked air arms fields...........anything around 15/16 grains should be fine ( see the pellet weight chart) here

cheers mate appreciate your help just... when its running low on air will it decrease accuracy and power ??

if you let it too low yes..........they have a sweet spot, they varie from gun to gun but mine was between 140 and 170 bar.

 

they will still obviously shoot at lower pressures but not as well

unless you run it at under 100bar you shouldnt notice any difference as the hornet is regulated
