The one 8,503 Posted September 2, 2010 Report Share Posted September 2, 2010 Theres a couple of guys that repair mk1 boxes but the big thing is spare parts  if its not the capacitors that need replacing  but maybe these guys will buy them from you for parts if they cant fix them?? You will see that he sold the identical 2 broken finders not long ago so I suspect he got a mate to bid the price up for him and pushed the price too high. My father has fixed a number of finders and the only fault he can't fix is a broken wheel as we have never been able to find where to get them. Personally to me a missing wheel means it can't be fixed without canibalising another finder. Chances are the wheel has been removed to fix another finder and there is another fault with that finder. Before you bid ask the seller if anyone has already attempted to fix the finders. If the answer is yes then don't bother bidding. Quote Link to post
