Frampton country fair 12th september

Recommended Posts

Hi guys, Frampton country fair is on the 12th september. For you that don't know, frampton is in Gloucestershire, right next to junction 13 on the M5. This year is the shows 25th year so its going to be a big one. Plenty of family fun as well as a lot of terrier and lurcher shows for the hardcore huntsman. Excellent day out. Tickets £8 on the door.

Well worth coming

Went to a show where there was the usual Ferret Rescue people and right next door was a Working Ferret exibition. They guy was very informative but spent most of his time telling parents not to let the kids put thier fingers through the cages even though he had enough signs up to sink a battleship.

Never seen him before or since unfortunately :(

I remember going to Frampton fair in the early 1970's.

One of the events was drinking pints of live elvers. I bet they no longer hold this event due to the falling numbers of elvers.

The garden sheds and sit on lawn mowers mentioned by Tallyho does not sound like the show of old!
