JackWilliams 1
I was just wondering how many people have got 1st crosses. My mate has and it is a machine, before the ban it was taking anything that moved. Now its just on the legal altertenatives. But the other nite, we took my young saluki x bullwhippet out and his young deerhound/greyhound x collie/greyhound over a first corss (long breeed lol) out lamping and his first cross zac tagged along. We agave the pups easy runs, and zac easy runs, didnt catch a thing, then run zac on a piece of land which is all up and down and ripped up from horses, and he caught the rabbit, the hardest run if the nite but he caugh it lol. Also he has never actually killed a rabbit, always brings them back alive, is this common in a first cross?? Another point that comes to mind is that My saluki x has never looked at a sheep, where as the first cross was quite partial to some mint sauce lol. is this another common fault, hes been cured now but it was just odd, how one dog didnt even look at them , but zac was hunting these on purpose.
