Nathan_R 10
Hi Tilly, I don't have an FAC so I don't have first hand knowledge, but I would recomend having a look at Chairgun if you haven't already? (you can download it for free from: http://www.chairgun.com/ ) You can stick all of the known values of your rifle and pellet choice and it will accurately simulate the trajectory of the pellet for you. It looks a little daunting at first, but just have a play with it and you'll soon get the hang of it. It's a very useful tool to use, and quite good fun as well! I hope this helps, Nathan Quote Link to post

andyfr1968 772
12ft-lb's or 50, the kill range is whatever range you can put your shots consistantly into a tight group of no more than an inch or so.... Quote Link to post
cameroncharles 2
can i ask why are you looking for around the 22lb mark? Seems to me that if your going down the fac route I'd personally go for 30lb! Hitting targets at 80yds is easy when your just blinking/checking mil dots etc but in real world conditions after a long stalk, with fading light, side wind etc its down to how good your shooting is. Best of luck with choosing the right tool. Quote Link to post
