BULL .

Before I start I have to say I like all lurcher breeds, (proper ones) if I could pick 3 it would be bullxcolliexgrey, colliexgrey, and bedlington whippet! Ill add 1 more just 4 good measures deerhoundx.

Back to the bull-collie-grey me and my bro pork chop own 2 C/GX which are brothers same as us :icon_eek: anyway my experience on these dogs the 1st thing which I know with the 2 of the dogs they are up 4 anything and I mean anything!

Stamina wise i've never come across anything like it they are like a duracell battery they just keep going and going! Intelligence now this is a bit tricky in the field they seem very knowing what they are doing and learn very fast.

Now back at home and training they come across as being a bit dopey! cough cough (BULL)

Agressivness up until they are 2 it seems to be they are like any other dog after that they think they are king! They seem to look at a dog if they like it then theres no problem whatsoever male or female any breed if they dont like it they will pour their heart out to fight it! this is something people need to learn about these dogs!

Being around children they act just like a puppy at all times but never take this for granted at the end of the day its still an animal!

Anyway I could go on and on all day talking about these type of dogs all I know is that these 2 dogs ryfudd and jed have done more than expected and are a pleasure to own! 8)

At one time i did think this would be a good x , but not so sure now :hmm: .Having had both bull and collie xs, and if you drop on good dogs of those xs, Get the right colliex and they are one of the best rabbit dogs you will ever get.Same with the bullx, get a good'un and pre ban the best fox dog you will ever get. But when x to both breeds, you could end up with crap rabbit dog, or a crap fox dog :hmm: .It might work out, but as both xs are top of there game on the above quarry, why take the risk.? I know some will say a bxg x cxg is a good x maybe, but a line bed bullx or a line bred colliex, i think make a better choise

shut up talking shit

yes but the thinking was just a bit of collie into the mix for brain, stamina etc as we no the bullx is a hard dog in genral and the collie x intelligent is a great rabbitter but is not just for rabbits as some make good fox dogs what were people using before the bullx ! as i stated before i dont want a cock swinging compition between bullx and collie x boys or im not intrested in opinions of those who have had either of the crosses seperatly, just people who work or own a bullxgrey with collie in the mix somewhere

im thinking further down the line for my bullx which is 4th generation and very closly bred so im looking for an out x and would like a dash of collie for the above reasons .

its just research on my part but some of these dogs are great looking animals and i would be intrested in seeing them work.and hearing more about them

i think they could potentialy be a very good allrounder .

sorry mate i agree wit ya
