PINNACLE 2,297 Posted September 2, 2010 Report Share Posted September 2, 2010 Don't know about plum spirits or wine but try this for plumb jam Get 4lb- 4.5lb plums in a big glass bowl and microwave them full power for 6 mins add 1lb to 1.5lb sugar and a couple of slices of lemon stir and microwave for 4 mins then take out the skins lemon and stones. stir and give 4 mins more Have ready 4 very clean jars and lids. Put a spoon full of water in each jar and stick them in the microwave for 3 mins (not lids)whilst plums cool take out jars and poor in jam and put on lids. Leave to cool then enjoy. Going to give this a try . I have been getting lots of plums lately, my partner has made a few crumbles ,and I have started making smoothies ,just with plums,and yoghurt in a blender.
