over the years all i have heard is that collie grey wer the dog 1/2 or 3/4 bread.

im going to put this to the test / for my own interest and way up the pros and cons.

i bread a litter of 3/4 grey 1/4 bull 2 years ago, great all

rounders no word beaters but at the top end of the scale,

as far as hunting all quary, they are fit for any thing

the only thing i found was that they put every thing in at the start, and if the race goes on to 5/6 minutes they start to lose pace and cant keep up.

very smart dogs great nose wich i didnt expect from bull cross.

I'm sorry mate but no way would a bull grey go for 5/6 minutes

stop listening to outher people and being a know it all ur only 18 how the fk would u know di~k bag lol

not hear for a dispute but people like u crack me up .

.

I'm confused how can you ask about collie x's then exclude border &beardies? And 4 - 6 mins on quarry would tax any dog

some off the fields over here would really test a dog out , my Alfie dog as stayed behind stuff longer than 4 minutes and he is only got 9/16s running dog (greyhound/whippet) in him the rest being bull/wheaton and bedlington ..

and thats going over fences and through hedges

rain sounds like im expecting 2 much from my dogs or are ur dogs just not up 2 much

THIS IS MY REASON FOR LOOKING IN TO COLLIE CROSSES MY DOGS SUIT ME FOR ALL QUARRY BUT DONT EXCELL AT LONG EARS DUE TO STAMINA .

THEY SUIT FOR THE FIRST COURCE AT LONG EAR AFTER THAT THER FKD AND NEED A BREATHER.

BUT THEY GIVE THER ALL AND WORK STUFF AS IT SHOULD BE WORKED UP ITS TAIL FROM WORD GO.

yes he did catch it lol but your getting it all wrong lol i was meaning over here it aint hard for a dog to stay behind quarry for 4 minutes due to the fields being smaller so they aint really getting into top flight for long its more turn turn turn lol ,my dog would be no good on the open fens be f****d after a couple of mins easy .
