'Arry Redknapp has a sense of humour failure!

Recommended Posts

I can't stand football but I love it when some pompous, self-important tit like him has a hissy fit!!

Priceless...

pompous self-important  ......there are few more genuine and down to earth people in football than Harry Redknapp......so he,s not 100% by the rulebook in a lifetimes work so what, who is in any walk of life.

Its a shame a few other people in football dont say what they mean during interviews rather than all saying what they think they should say.I remember reading about how Michael Owen was being " taught " how to do interviews and deal with the media in the early part of his career...." taught " :o .....i guarentee Harry Redknapp has never had lessons he just speaks from the heart and shouldnt be critisized for it in my opinion.

Fair comment, Gnasher. I don't know enough (anything TBH) about football so I'll put my hand up to putting forward an ill informed comment...

I'll keep my trap shut on football threads in future..... :icon_redface::laugh:

I wasn't being critical with the original post Gnash, it just amused me. That snotty nosed reporter got more than he bargained for by reeling out the old 'wheeler dealer' cliché for the millionth time! :D

I actually like the way he speaks his mind, like the time he was talking about a glaring miss by Darren Bent, saying even his wife Sandra could have scored if she'd have been there! :clapper:

Darren Bent didn't think much of it though.. :whistling::laugh:

I know you wasnt mate it was a good find that clip.....Harry,s old school i think he probably finds it hard sometimes fitting in with this sometimes poncey arse licking ways these interviews go these days.

Wish we still had the ol boy down West Ham if truth be told.

If anybody ever asked me for one thing that I'd associate with Harry Redknapp, my first answer would always be 'West Ham'.:thumbs:
