one bad night

Recommended Posts

i was out last night with the lamp and sat in my normal spot waiting . first half hour nothing , but sounds from the brambles made me wait to see. i seen movement in the moon light on a set of ears on the edge of feild only 40yrds in front . hit it with the lamp and it froze , pop over it went stone dead . i left it where it was. if i move it may spook any others waiting to come out. only 5 mins later the second bunny popped its head out and down it went after a quick flip, dead as it hit the grass . again left it, to pick up as i was leaving . five mins before i was about to leave a russle of the bush behind me got me turning on the spot to see the third bunny sitting at the end of fence it took seconds to get it in to scope as the street light was coming throw the tree line. pop got it , laffing to myself i got up and walk over to the first two and they where gone :hmm: as i turned towards the last one there was a fox running the lenth of the feild with it in its mouth . the sod had nicked it, and when i went back to where the mate was he was laffing because he sat watching the fox pop its head out and nick the other two as i shoot the third . so i would of been over the moon with my kills. but that fox really took the mick out of me . next time its open fox hunting :boogie: .
