wag 13 Posted August 31, 2010 Author Report Share Posted August 31, 2010 cheers wag hows things looking down there ??? been having a look for the last few mornings and evenings.......and theres not a lot about up here at the moment.........but hey, theres plenty of time yet. that said........deeks are bagged up, wellys and jacket in the car, just me gun and cartridges to put in tomorrow .........and away early....can't wait !!! hope your season is a good and safe one cheers sean well sean, things were looking really special over the weekend with the high winds , then i looked at the weather forecast for the week and it said NNE TO E winds , i then thought even better , i was like a young kid in a sweet shop. when i went down for a reckie this morning and the winds had gone and the wind had not gone round to where it said it was going to , i was a bit disopointed . there has been plenty of duck here for about a month now i.e mallard , teal and a few wigeon .plenty of local greys and canadas. i also see a few shovler and gadwell and 4 pintail this morning .. i have been going down about 4 times a week for the last month at different times also doing a few tide reckies to so i will just have to wait till the morning to see what happens , people might think i'm a bit sad but my gear has been ready for a week or more lol good luck .....
