The one 8,483
Do ferreters need to move with the times ? Theres nought wrong with hemp nets ive hundreds ,but shouldn't we be using brightly coloured nylon ones? they dont need drying and you shouldn't loose one unlike hemp which unless its like a bowling green you can loose one .More so when where starting ferreting early and finishing later in the year . And everybody should have the mk3 locator? better range and a search facility than the mk1 ? Should we be right on the edge of cutting technology ?? Just for a few rabbits ??? Quote Link to post
PETEWINN 5
If money is no object then yes but realistically no. Who is going to throw 100 hemp nets away and replace them with bright coloured nylon ones. Quote Link to post

Just for a few rabbits ??? good question but for me use what makes things easier and still enjoyable but its probably a combination of old school field craft and new technology but its easy to get carried away and buy the newist item on the market probably catches more ferreters than rabbits. but then again ferreters use to feed bread and milk to ferrets but advances in diet and food soon changed all that so like i said if you can get a postive uses in new tecnology then why not but if your happy with your kit and it works why change it. A mk3 box is a must have item surely as you can use the search facililty and find your ferret and you dont have to walk over the burrow ?? Nets with sliders as they close faster ?? Quote Link to post
