Hi i have an old bsa air rifle lying around at home. Just would like some info on the gun for parts.[ie name,age] the serial number is GB16566 any info would be great. Thank you

Have you tried the bsa owners group mate, as there is a load of info on there

Looks like a mark 1 air sporter, in .22, made between 1956 and 1958. BSA might be able to track the actual serial number down a bit closer for you.
