The worst is the people paying have the rights to the land and then dont shoot it,the farmer then cant let you on cuz the guy whos renting it will sue him!!!! yes there is shooters with permission that do this and will not share. I have been to massive farms and the farmer say we got a guy,im like a guy,you wouldnt notice 50 on here. Then theres the people that have all the permission in the area and cant and dont shoot it,you cant shoot it cuz they have the permission and the farmer think there shooting it. Greed is not good but im affraid these people are ruining it for us all. soon poor average joe wont be intitled to as he is poor average joe and not stuck up brown nose. Ive always wanted FAC permission,ive come to terms with it never happening as some one has all the permission by me and I cant really afford to travel 50 miles to ask and then travel 50 miles to take a chance on some bunnies. All of a sudden poachin seems the best resort. Have you seen the way the game keepers look at you when you ask for permission??they seem to forget that they dont own the land. I will never pay,lifes hard as it is money wise and lets not forget we are saving them money by shooting the pests,they should really be paying us.. Quote Link to post

Poaching is the worst thing out of all of those options as it brings bad publicity to airguning as it would probably feature in the local papers and does the most damage, gamekeepers dont really need pests controlled from airgunners as their main pest is foxes and they want least disturbance to the shoot during the season and they will normally have people from their syndicate doing those types of jobs. I agree in the case of pest control unlike game the people that are paying are ruining it and are probably not going to be as good at controling the pests as other people who have to prove themselves and get recomended. But there is also nothing wrong with people having all of the permission in their area aslong as they use it and the farmer will not have a problem giving it to someone else if they are'nt using it. I have just got permission to go bunny shooting at a local address to me for nothing as the land owner is beset with blasted bunnies! They think I am doing them a favour so they don't want payment! Everybody is happy, well the bunnies might not be! Edited to say I have now got 2 more permissions and I am bagging bunnies quite happily, without spending a penny, mind you I did find a fiver in some brambles...
