Marksman 934 Posted August 29, 2010 Report Share Posted August 29, 2010 How do sports fans!!! well after getting my rifle back from A & M again after a barrel problem (which was expertly sorted by the way!!)wor kid rang and asked if we were going out..... Well, what could I say....."Of course"...."Great pick you up at 10! he said! I decided to change to Air Arms Field with the new barrel instead of my usual defiants just to give them a try basically.Using the first mag to check zero every was back to being hunky dory and me back on form with a 15mm 5 shot group. Then the snag....wor kids stirrup pump knackered and my dive bottle just about empty after I'd filled my bottle he decided to leave the S200 and do my lamping for me. Hitting the ground at about 2230hrs it wasnt long before we had our first mark, a 3/4 grown at bang on zero range. I managed to get prone, placed the crosshairs on the vital area and with a silent but deadly Pffhhhtt! the grass muncher keeled over without a twitch.... Where it fell.... The second came soon after wor kid lased it at 39M..... Bang on target again! where it fell..... So the night went on....... ending up with 18 in total, however when we went to collect them Mr Fox had decided to remove 3 of them from the gate where we left them hocked so the total take home bag was 15.... Phantom 631 Posted August 29, 2010 Report Share Posted August 29, 2010 (edited) Nice going Darryl SPA Good to see you out again I got probs with my stirrup pump at the moment Only putting air in on the downward stroke (no comments please you filthy minded buggers) Must get a new oring for it and clean the bullet valve I would have thought you would have let Gary have a shot or two though I left three for Chuck the other night, wife said no more in the freezer and it was two late to knock on Mrs G's door to give em to her (gave her two earlier). It had both our heads done in and I felt a right pain in the arse(more than normal!!-before anyone says it!!)having kept phoning him. But now it's sorted it's devastatingly accurate!
