lost ferret

got some sad news,my seven year old just come back from a days ferreting with his mates,and gone and lost my two jills ,was wondering if anyone got some for sale in desperet need of a new pair thanks.

sorry to hear that mate but letting a seven year old take responceability of 2 ferrets in the field on there own is a really stupid thing to do lets hope the next 2 fair better

I lost one today too but i'm sure it won't be for long, they will still be where your kids left them, they'll turn up as ditch shiter said they can't physically fly off, if they were near any houses/farms go give them your mobile no.

they shouldnt be ferreting without a locator anyway in my opinion. if they were mine id be gutted and doing everything i could to get them back not looking for replacements

I'v been ferreting for about 15yrs now without a locator and i have never lost a ferret yet ! dont get me wrong i have nothing against locators......in fact i am pondering with the idea of buying one as we speak but not because i fear i will lose a ferret it will simply speed things up if i get a kill in .

 

I think too many people these day rely on modern technoligy when hunting....what ever happened to feild craft ?
