Rough Shoot Semi 12 Gauge

Can you clear something up for me please?

 

I'm looking for a semi for occasional rough shooting, a colleague of mine who has been shooting for years is recommending a Hatsan Escort, I admire his experience but I've only heard bad reports of this SG.

 

Is he correct or talking $hite?

I bought one this week,cycles flawlessly,has already accounted for some pigeons,and a fox.I think a lot of it is shotgun snobbery,sure it's not going to be as good as a £1000 berreta,but it's going to do the job.

I love mine and think it's going to be a "keeper".

Ive got 1 and it jams every now and then, depends what catridges are going through it. Its a FUSSY BUGGER !! Good gun though, takes a beating.

I have a "snobs" Beretta for clays but don't want to bash it about looking for Charlie.

 

After the recommendations of you guys I think I'll have a punt.

My mate has one -had trouble with it jamming to start with and an 0ring problem got it sorted and last 12months has been ok-
