dave1372 83 Posted August 27, 2010 Report Share Posted August 27, 2010 Went down the chicken farm for a mooch about last night and in parked up along one of the tracks and did a few calls and did spot a fox a good few hundred yards of in the distance with the NV but it wasn't interested and wouldn't come any close and seemed to be more interested with what it had found so I decide d to see if I could stalk up to it, which I thought might be a bit awkward with the full moon ! Any way after what seemed like 15 minutes (was only about 2 minutes) I was within a comfortable 150 yards and then let the 22-250 do the rest and down it went. It was only then I remembered I left my torch in the car . When we eventually found it, it turned out to be a decent sized dog fox, probablly last years by the look of the teeth : Quote Link to post
