alright can any 1 tel me how to have a continuis charge to a 12v motor i.e a lure machine is there a genaratore that can turn it over or charge the batery why it is working?

Mate your dog will tire before battery does.I have done 30-40 runs of 250 yards on one battery and as i said in your other post always have spare on standby

Whats funny? Do you think i meant i ran one dog that amount of times? Far from it that was over 20 dogs that were at my race meeting.Most ran out of steam after 3 or 4

ok bud nice to know just as the batery i tryed today didnt have that much charge in just 3 runs also is that just a standed car batery?

Yeah just the cheapest one the shop had i think i paid £24 for it.Its quite small to keep weight of machine down too.I wish i had ability to make metal one mine is big bulky and made from timber but does the job ok despite its design faults.

What would power alternator though to recharge battery? Its just as easy to whack on charge you dont have to disconnect battery
