dwolf 1 Posted August 27, 2010 Report Share Posted August 27, 2010 (edited) caught nine white marlin the other day! we hooked 15, & saw 25-30 in one short day. It was insane, everyone grabbing rods & screaming " longrigger, flatline, etc, every time one of the beauties ripped through the spread at 50 mph wreaking havoc,lol. It was pure beautiful chaos nearly all day long too. Talk about andrenaline...each one of those marlin was potentially worth $100,000's. What a rip. It's that august marlin moon. We came in 4th i believe out of 137 boats for most marlin caught & released in the 3 day tournament but still no money.... great times though & 1 great bite. cheers, (this pic not mine, but a perfect shot) Edited October 9, 2010 by dwolf Quote Link to post

genuine 81 Posted September 1, 2010 Report Share Posted September 1, 2010 Tried earlier on in year spring ti,e in mexico while over there for a wedding,sadly no marlin water a tad cold but managed a few others so good barracuda around 30 40lb mark some cumming up with just heads left im gathering it was sharks! Marlin is something i will definately do in the near future its my dream to catch one! Well done anyway mate! Quote Link to post
