masmiffy 82
I cant believe ho lucky you were! There was a guy near me who got stung 3 - 4 times by a wasp and died. As far as I know he wasnt alergic! Went into anaphylactic shock his wife called doctor / 999 they got him round after shocking him a few times. Were going to give up but his wife pleaded with em to keep going. He was in hospital [coma] for a week then they decided to turn off the life support. He had been without oxygen for over 12 mins at the original scene so was no hope really. Make you wonder how a dog survives

Guest arch1
Now this is strange. We have come across 3 Wasps nests while out walking lately, all have been in the ground and all have been dug up. Unfortunatly i rammed me stick in the hole, coz it looked like a rabbit hole, and a few remaining Wobbies came out. Unfortunatly for Ossie they went after him. Didn't sting him, but he didn't like them on him. Note to self. Don't ram your stick in a Wobbies nest.
Back Stabbath 1
Ah shit one I think that when you kill wasps, the others detect a hormone or something which makes them angrier and go to fight whatevers killing them
berty1 8
Its been a bad year for wasps down in the southeast this year, hundreds of them. Lots of underground nests as well. I hate them and kill them on site if possible.
lilvixen 26
we got them sticky things you hang from the ceiling that flys stick too, had a couple of wasps in the house over the past week or so, if you can manage to stun the little twats with a tea towel stick them on the fly traps by there wings and back and watch the little fuckers squirm ha! we share the same hobby! Had a 7 week old terrier pup eat a live wasp the other day and she swelled up. Gave her 1/2 a piriton tab and she was ok after 1/2 hour. We always keep piriton tabs/liquid in the house/car for kids and dogs
Hannah4181 260
I have just been administering piriton to a friends terrier that had an allergy . . . but the vets dosage for a 10kg dog was up to 3, 4mg tablets a day. The standard piriton you get from a chemist are 4mg tabs. The liquid antihystmine i find works quicker for wasp stings.
