Cant cut every field at once you know Spot on and just cause it looks ready it don't mean the moisture content is correct. good prices for wheat mean nothing if you spend £50 a ton drying it. nod 285 Posted August 26, 2010 Report Share Posted August 26, 2010 they can cut it when its higher than 15% but if they havent got a drier on the farm the grain stores charge £1.50 for every 0.1% over 15% so if you had 10 tonne at 16% they would knock £150 off your monies owed to you.
