Ancient Aseel Bully Kutta

Recommended Posts

I don't understand the "Ancient" part of the name ? Weren't Bully Kutta's the result of cross breeding Bull & Terrier type dogs, taken to India by Officers of the British Raj, with local breeds, back in the 1800's ?

Cheers.

Bingo! :notworthy: I wondered when someone else'd point that out.

I didn't want to be the one to post that because i've already rattled the cage, stating Kuttas are nothing more than status symbols as their best use (fighting other dogs) can't be done legally here.

why have a saluki x or bull x?   we can only hunt rabbits and rats.

The reason some dogs are banned is because of knee jerk legislation following a serious attack by a pit bull type dog on an indian girl Rukshan Khan. The dogs listed on the DDA were mostly unheard of

Why would anybody try to breed aggression out of dogs bred for aggression .....IF people purchased the correct breed and type of dog for the use they wanted a dog for in the first place then none of

?!? You've missed my point: My post states why THEY did what they did. Not whether i agree or disagree. I was empathising with their point of view, not sympathising with it.

If i missed your point then i apologise. thants the problem replying on a night shift.

These are basically poorly bred crosses from the indian sub continent, if i wanted a dog fighting dog then apbt all the way, anything else would not cut it. As for a status symbol dog, i'd rather get a job and move from the ghetto...

Don't worry about it :thumbs: Don't work too hard on those night shifts, i've heard they can be quite tiring :blink:

An old chap once told me "you should never own a dog that's so big and strong that you aren't confident of killing it bare handed, if need be". There must be some big dogs out there.......

They are quite often used in fighting matches at weddings out in the tribal lands of India/Pakistan/Afghanistan, even though it's supossed to be banned;

For something to be called " a match " it has to have rules and a referee...they use neither !.....Its one thing to match 2 dogs fairly for sport.....but chucking 2 dogs together for entertainment purposes is both needless and ignorant.....and shows a true lack of understanding of fighting dogs and competetive sport in general.
