nice one dave, what gun and ammo was you using :gunsmilie:

 

It was shot by someone I took lamping last night, it was shot with a .243 (I edited my post when I realised I said it 'wasn't'), I think he said he was using 90gr v-max. I have seen plenty of shot foxes and I am not sure how the bullet hit but that is the biggest exit wound I have ever seen !

Its not an exit wound....

the Fox must ave been looking straight on and the bullet has gone down the side of the rib cage and fragmented hence the damage.

If it had been an exit wound , you wouldnt been able to see the rib cage so easily.
