thanks for all the replys .never lamp from vehicle , if the beam isnt much different i think the striker will do me.i will be gutted if i get the striker and then wish i had the blitz,lol.

blitz all the way man a much better beam than the striker

much narrower and can go further if u need it to and its

only akward if its a cloddy person using it

whatever lamp you get it will need re-wireing sooner rather than later....i prefer the striker as im not keen on walking round a field carrying a wok!....but they are good though!

thanks for replys cant decide now looks like its 50/50, variable might be too awkward to use as i have 2 dogs on slips?is it a twist knob on back of lamp?

I have a striker variable and the vari power is easy to use just roll it with ur thumb i am now getting a blitz head coz the striker is under powered at range but great for smallish field work.
