Search and you will find out. Long and short is that .177 is easier because flatter tragetory, but .22 is allegedly got more stopping power although a curved tragetory and therefore you have to workout hold over / under. You will find people prefer one or the other based upon personal experience. Searching on here, or on the net in general will tell you all you need to know!

.177 are lighter in the tin and usually cost less for the same brand and model.

.177 you can usually get two tins in a small pocket.
