venomviper 129
morning folks well my first night off for 4 days and what a nice night to as it has been none stop raining and windy as hell, well as itslowed down a bit i thought i would go out for an hour just to see what was about so as i didnt want to go to far just in case it rained i thought the golf course would be the best bet so after getting there is was around 18.45 plenty of time if the rabbits are about and i had the hw100kt 22 (viper) with me so off i went for a walk around and WOW as it had rained hard there was no golfers around at all great and lots of rabbits running around too even better for me so the first i took was a tricky shot as when i lased her she came in at 46mtrs plus she had her back to me and in the hedge long grass to hummmm i know i can do it so i lay the viper down and dropped the legs on my bipod and took aim she was on a angle to so i pulled the trigger and one proper dead rabbit and being a young one she wasn't to happy having a hole in the back of her head so she gave out a good few kicks before she came to a stop and her with my viper (hw100kt) so after having a good start i carried on walking around until i spotted a golfer hummmm how mad are you in this weather but hey i am here to so cant say much but when he came over to me he started tell me about the rabbits and where they were as he stops til around 21.00 he see's them in the car park hummm ok i'll have a look so after thanking him for the tips i went off to see well to my suprise there they were loads of rabbits playing on the green next to the car park so i came to rest there for a could of minutes after i spooked them to see if they would come back well they sure did this rabbit was taken at 51mtrs lased and what a shot i got this 1 in the eye and into the brain cracking shot and as he was on an angle i knew that the 22 pellet would crush through the eye and into the brain and with my gun running consistant at 11.79 there was plenty of power to do a clean kill happy hunter rabbit 2 and one with the gun that did it again nice big boy to and very healthy boy to so feeling a little happy i stayed there for a little longer to see if his girlfriend would come out and well here he comes another big boy but this time he came out from the hedge row and ran towards me so when he stopped he was 34mtrs from me cracking rabbit 3 in the bag but as i took aim he didnt want to just sit there no he wanted to jump about and play so i gave a good squeek and stopped him with a 22 bit of lead sorry about the picture it was getting dark and the iphone dont have a flash but i got another picture when getting back to the car of the 2 big boys together again very nice clean kills and i was very happy to leave it at that as i will be back out tonight with my son brenden the 2 together and my viper so i will have another story for you all later no doubt i hope you all enjoy regards shay 2 Quote Link to post

johnboy19 38
Your not the only one who came home empty handed. I went out for an hour and 15 mins, could tell it was going to be 'one of they nights', so decided to go home early and put some practice in with the TX200 1 Quote Link to post
