shepp 2,285
It would drive many people mad to be stuck underground for that long.
lurchergrrl 1,441
I couldn't cope for a couple of hours, never mind for months May God keep them, I hope they all get out alive.
OldTrapCollector 377
I spent a few consecutive days underground caving in Cantabria, North Spain a couple of years ago and it is ok, but 4 months is a bit extreme! Their eyesight will be poor when they surface as they will not have focussed properly for such a long time in white light. I feel for the guys stuck, and hope they get out ok OTC

scothunter 12,609
what were they mining chiles for...they grow better in a greenhouse lol joking aside though must be a nightmare for them.as for overtime dont bet on it dont think chile is a wealthy country,at least if that happened here there be a good claim waiting for them when they got out.Maybe im wrong but there be an outcry if it happened here and they were told it would be xmas before they got out.im guessing they will need to open up a new shaft to get them out in case of collapse if they go through the current one.dont envy them and hope they all get out safe.
