The local pound most likely as per seen it over and over again with silly mixes.Sry mate but cant afford to take your dog to the vet dont have it simple as that.I ALWAYS find the money to have my dogs sorted if it needs done.You now have right up to a week before a bitch whelps to get the jag to terminate the pregnancy and i help rescue dogs and get really sick of seeing these mistakes happening

I had a bitch and a dog living together and found a crate and soem dog gates proved useful for when a bitch is in season.

Hmmmm. What a negative and self-righteous post.

I've been heavilly involved in Lurcher rescue for many years and act in an advisory capacity to three borough councils.

This chap is doing the best he can to secure good, honest homes for these pups. I honestly do not see the benefit in you posting such a negative, pessimistic view point.

The pups are here and are healthy and well reared.

What is now important is to find them good, permanent homes. I'm happy to hear that your dog and bitch lived together with out any resulting pregnancies....mine too. But in real life, accidents can and do sometimes happen.

The owner is doing all he can to act responsibly and find the pups homes. Let's stop pontificating and give him a break.

Oh and by the way...I find the idea of terminating a pregnancy, 7 days before the bitch is about to whelp quite repellent.

a bullgreyxrotti,sure its not a breed that pops into your head when you want a dog for a job but im pretty certain they will be far more usefull than some of those pathetic so called designer x breeds out there that cost a fortune. good luck to you and getting homes for the pups

ive just read this post right through and yes i cant see them being up to much hunting wise but in fairness he hasnt said their gonna be it was a complete accident mnnating and now their here he is doing his best for them which is all you can ask . i was in his boat at the start of the year on my arse and out of work first time for 20 years but a few months later things picked up so i know for a fact things like this happen. so all you on your high horses why dont you get off and give someone else earache . there rant over.
