LordGamebore 0
So an enthusiastic landowner has now given me premission to shoot over his land, about 20 acres - not massive but plenty of backstops, for the control of rabbits and even fox. I've decided to apply for FAC air, .22LR, and .22 hornet for fox. A few basic questions: How do I put FAC air on my application? Do I have to write what power I want the rifle to have and how many pellets to keep? Also how many rounds to store and buy for .22lr and .22 hornet? With regard to references, do the two refs need to have upstanding jobs or postions in the community, as per SGC? I was thiking of a work collegue and a family frined. Just average jobs really, not doctors or lawyers or anything. Cheers... Quote Link to post
whippeter69 88
Just put down the caliber you want the air rife you want and then write Air Rifle Not to sure on the pellet one ( Some one will have a good answer) A good one for the .22lr is 500 to buy and 600 to keep For the Hornet 100 to buy and 200 to keep Quote Link to post
elvolcan 0
Not to sure on the pellet one ( Some one will have a good answer) There is no pellet restriction, the pellets you shoot are the same as in a sub 12 ft/lbs air gun. Those references will be completely fine, the job won't matter. ATB!!! Good luck Quote Link to post

I didn't think it would matter about the pellets, but I heard somewhere in N'Ireland you have to store pellets. I know they require an FAC for any gun over there though. Quote Link to post
