anybody got info or pictures of there bullgrey x salukigrey dogs?

thinking of breeding my 5/8saluki3/8 grey to a 5/8grey 3/8bull, did plan on using a saluki dog with alot of merlin/rebelxeve blood

have access to both but alot of people saying bulls will make top alrounders. your thoughts please?

good x ... got one , and cant fault her , to be honest we got lucky with ours and not all turn out as heavy as ours did , 28 itts 85 lb , i think the aim when doing this x really is for pulling big deer out in the open , there not out and out terriermans dogs , with that amount of bull , some xs of this type end up smallish , mines a 3/8-5/8 bull/greyhound dam , saluki/greyhound half x sire , to be honest my mates bitch probably turned out the better example of the x , she threw towards a more running dog shape , wich is why anyone would put that much running dog in the mix , my bitch is a slight bit heavier with a bigger muzzle , ........ good x hope it works out for ya

me have a saluki bull simular stamp to one above and what a good dog he is he's five years old and still hasnt let the side down now i cant say that about many dogs around my way only fault with him he won't draw so go on try it mate.

my bitch is first class,to me she is the perfect all rounder,she does everything that is asked of her. i wouldnt be without one in my kennel,atb shushy! :thumbs:she retrieves shot hares too!

i think they are a good cross very game dogs the two in my pictures are saluki bull crosses

this is a x i have been looking at lately and they are a handy tool to have in the kennle i think you will not go wrong going down that line if it does come off i would like to see the out come . i could be tempted

im very tempted and i gonna wait and wait if i have to till i get one bred this way even though theres some beddy/whp pups just down the road from me that are supposed to be from good parents and very tempted but i will wait as heard nothing but good about this cross look nice dogs as well

well just waiting for her to break down then hopefully mating will take place 3 pups spoken for already but any others will be for sale pm me and i'll keep in touch. I'll hopefully post some photos up of stud dog and bitch soon

" WHAT" ........ what difference does it make if there from good parents , ..THERE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT BREEDS OF DOGS , FOR DIFFERENT TASKS ALLTOGETHER " how is is possible for you to be torn between the 2 litters , this is why dogs get passed on , not bred for the task thats being asked of them a saluki/bull/greyhound is nothing like a beddy whippet so i would wait mate, till you know what youll be hunting atb with your choice

the best dog i had the pleasure of seeing run was from a cross like this. he wasnt the best on a hare but still took his fair share but he was a top lamping dog.
