been trying to post some pics up,tryed imageshack any advice thanks welshhound2

Righty copy the URL from your "imageshack pic that you want to post"..come onto here and on your "new topic"page youll see a just in the "reply/posting" box a little pic of a tree..next to the paperclip and stuff where you can change fonts ect..click the little pic of the tree and paste the url into the box that appears I hope this helps..I dont really know what other way to explain it althought they prob is an easier way

I too found Image Shack gave me the shits. Don't know why. Just did.

 

Now, I've had the following on file since for ever. I've cut it down to as bare bones as I can make it, over the years. Works. Try this:

 

 

1. Go here: http://www.fookes.com/ezthumbs/?Easy%20Thumbnails=2800 and get that. FREE. Lives on ye PC. I've had it for years.

 

2. Go to SETTINGS. Top line. Set it to 350 /350 / Resize Best Fit. Run ye shot through that. It makes ye a forum friendly copy of ye piccy. Remember to do this with any shot ye wish to show on any forum. Save us all heart ache.

 

3. Go here: http://photobucket.com/ and open an account. FREE and quite painless.

 

4. Use their simple instructions to Browse to ye Desk Top - or what ever Folder ye have the TN shot stored in. Upload it.

 

5. Scrolling down a tad, ye'll find ye shot on PhotoBucket. Below it appear three lines of various codes. For here, choose the bottom one http://etc.the URL of ye shot[/iM*G] . COPY that ( Double LEFT Click to shade it. RIGHT Click. Click on COPY ). Forget that page.

 

6. Go back to the forum and write ye Post. Decide where ye want ye shot to appear in the post. RIGHT Click over that point and choose PASTE. Click.

 

7. Be sure to hit PREVIEW. Should see ye Post, complete with ye shot. If not, call me.

 

 

 

Yes. It's 'Long'. Ye should have seen the original! But it works ~ or else ye not mentally fit to be in charge of an internet connection

I find it much easier to get the picture from MY PICTURES e mail it to myself then post .

It works for me and seems much easier then all that ditch shitter .Just my view !!!!!!!!!!
