Im geting one for Christmas hopefully,I can live without perfect depth, as I use a probe anyway, as long as its accurate over the ferret Im ok. Guest Frank Posted December 7, 2006 Report Share Posted December 7, 2006 (edited) Agree, i tryd using a rod rest, no good We were using a T bar, which was about 1/2 inch thick and heavy and about 4 ft long, seem to get into the ground just fine.
