Ive the old striker, and would like a dimmer fitted.

can this be done using a pigeon magnet?

 

Or does anyone do conversions of their own?

Deben used to sell a 12volt dimmer switch I used one on a lightforce 170 before i bought one with a dimmer fitted, then sold it. Worked well.

alright mate i have tried the pigeon magnet thing there crap to noisey with the current going through. also if you buy the dimmer switch for the stricker there around £40 witch you need two hands to use it. if i was you mate i'd save up to get the lamp with the dimmer on the back you use the same hand as the lamp leaving your other free to call mr charlie slip the dog whatever. alb al

Thanks mate, but its too pricey at the moment, just have to do with the old Srtiker for the moment.
