hunter1989 91 Posted August 20, 2010 Report Share Posted August 20, 2010 hi had a call 2day from a mate of mine.he said he was walking his dog on this feild up the hill when his dog was running he tripped over a rabbit hole and broke his leg.he said the feild is covered it rabbits and holes and could also be a proplem in the furture .how can i approch the farmer and ask him for permission Quote Link to post

stealthy1 3,964 Posted August 20, 2010 Report Share Posted August 20, 2010 Find out who owns the land, get up there in person, pay attentiont to the way you present your self, if the landowner has had idiots on his land, and you can bet your last quid he has, then first impressions will be everything if you want to secure permission on his land, show him your insurance, which is the best money you can spend when seeking land to shoot, and take a four leaf clover with you, good luck Quote Link to post

davyt63 1,845 Posted August 20, 2010 Report Share Posted August 20, 2010 hi steve turn up presentable :thumbs:that means on camo as stealthy said take insurance! and just explain to him your a responsible shooter and will respect all his rules & boundaries,and also be his eyes and ears if any one is fly tipping! or trespassing or just getting up to no good.let him know your a local lad,and have many years experiance in clearing rabbits or any other pests he would like you to take care of i use a template from grimreaper's profile and have had great results with it,i will try and find it for ya regards davy Quote Link to post
