johnboy19 38
I check them in my garden before every time i go out. Only takes 5 mins and reduces the chances of wounding or missing. I carry a few laminated targets to stick onto trees in my pocket incase i forget, or think i may have knocked it off zero while hunting Quote Link to post
Phantom 631
I usually do mine as soon as I arrive on permission. Reason being my turrets are finger adjustable and dont lock down so it can be knocked out as I bring it out of the slip.only ever altered one time and that was my fault Phantom Quote Link to post

I dont always take targets to check my zero, I sometimesuse a knot in a fence post or tree Kyle Quote Link to post
matt_hooks 188
Every time I go out, before I fire at anything living, I fire a group of three to check my zero. Takes a few seconds and is the difference between humane kills and possibly wounding an animal. Quote Link to post
