£70.000 Pounds for 14 Peregrine eggs? they must have all been 18 Carat , I would think Its near on 70 Captive Bred Falcons to net that sort of money.

why would anyone in the right mind want to take Peregrine eggs when they are so readily available through captive breeding is beyond me. Also Can't see why falconers in Dubai would show any interest in this guy when their is so many bred in captivity around the world.

They're normally pretty strict with the legalities and paperwork as is DEFRA <Animal Health> and customs...

It's all arse about face, isn't it ? Some bloke got 8 years in jail last month for selling a stolen first edition of Shakespeare, yet when i lived in Warton three young lads got drunk and kicked to death a gentleman of the road. The heaviest sentence of the three was only 8 years. I just don't get the parity.
