TOMO 26,478
YES hole drilled, and a long point , i also sand mine smooth, helps them go in properly. i also splice my drawcords rather than tie a knot behind the peg i think i might have O.C.D or pehaps to much time on my hands Quote Link to post

THE GRIFF 8
I just drill mine and put a knot each side of the hole to stop the cord sliding through the hole and wearing out on the inside of the hole where you cant sand smooth. I like the idea of spliceing them though! Quote Link to post
masmiffy 82
Splash a dab of bright paint on the 'tops' it sometimes helps to find a net! Quote Link to post

TOMO 26,478
ITS a way of joining 2 pieces of cord/rope/twine together without using a not, a common place to see this is on ropes from ships they splice them together a bit like platting. but with drawcord you use a neddle to thread one end through the other end for about 2 inch and then you do the same with the otheer end. feck thats clear aint it its hard to wright it , but very easy to do you only have to see it once and you could do it just thought theres a film called nets and net making by brian brinded, he shows you on there, have a look on ebay for it Quote Link to post
