Going Pro,..

Recommended Posts

On september 11th, i will be fighting in Kansas City, my Pro-debut. I have a manager now, and my training is going awesome, im the strongest ive ever been, and its time to see if i can make it in the big leagues. Kind of depressing going from the TOP of the food chain, and starting at the BOTTOM all over again!..lol.

Im fighting a guy with a very solid ground game, and he is a good BJJ fighter, with decent wrestling. It will be a good ole' 'Striker Vs Grappler' deal...im not a proud guy, i will NOT be wanting to beat him in a submission match...if it goes to the ground, it will be me on top, and elbows all the way!..lol.

I will let you guys know, good, bad, or ugly, how it goes down...this fight is at 155lbs, but after that, i will be fighting at 145lbs.

Kye..

Thats just the nature of signing a pro contract, some lads see it as a backward step but to me they have the wrong attitude, who wants to be a big fish in a small pond.

I dont really know the mma game but i imagine its similar to turning pro as a boxer you have commited yourself to the sport and live the fighters life which as you already know if you have made it this far is a life of dedication.

Reward for that dedication is success...... get in make a nice few quid and get out with everything intact hopefully setting yourself up for later life....that is a succesful career and dont let anyone tell you different !

I wish you all the best in strength, performance and a little luck.
