mikeyblue 28
Hi All, After an involuntary break to air-gunning Im finally back after purhasing a second hand gem!! I used to own a Rapid MK11, JB tuned, but had to sell due to other financial commitments. As I have said I have recently purchased a second hand rifle, a HW95k .177, with a Nikko Stirling Mountmaster sat on top. I am hoping this set up will account for a fair few bunnies before the ferreting season starts. Having said that, I am going to have to spend a lot more time paper punching before I venture out into the field. I had a couple of hours this afternoon and my groupings were atrocious!! To many years being spoilt with a PCP, need to re teach myself to shoot a springer. Will let you know how I get on and get some pics up, I have just got a few exciting permissions granted. Kind Regards, Mikeyblue. Quote Link to post

mikeyblue 28
Cheers Lads, Im getting there now. I have put the best part of a tin and a half of pellets through the HW95k over the last few days, and my groups are getting remarkably tight!! Chuffed to bits! Got the day off tomorrow so will be shooting at different ranges to map trajectory. So hopefully bunny bashing over the weekend. The club I play cricket for has a bunny problem so should keep me busy for a while. Some rabbit damage, hundreds of these little scrapes around the outfield. Where they are coming from, the gardens behind the trees. I think an ambush is in order! A few corvids to go at as well! Thanks again lads, great forum this!! Will let you know how I get on.
