Ok, Im feeding my whippet bitch, at present, Red Mills Tracker, rabbit, chickhen (odd time), venison, goat.

 

Just wonderd what everyones else feeds their working dogs.

 

Some sware by red mills, others fresh meat, veg ect.

 

So, what do you think works for you.

 

Experiences and results, explanations ect, welcomed.

i feed mine something called alpha sporting dog and the odd rabbit. and on sundays the left overs of sunday dinner.

chicken legs in the evening,1 with bone the rest just meat,

in the morning minced beef with raw egg or any leftovers from the night before,can of oily fish once a week.

this is for a 14 wk old irish terrier/greyxsaluki/grey and he's thriving on it.was feeding some feedwell last week as well but he just won't entertain it now!

veni bones rib cages lights and hearts , rabbit ,hare rib cages, pasta, rice, brown bread, veg,dried food , mackrel , tuna , pork mince tonight with pasta and veg. feed them all sorts all depends on the seasons etc

Handfull of Meal then Tripe,Minced Beef,Minced Lamb,Minced Chicken etc....Most of there Diet is made up of Raw Whole Rabbit, i just give them the above Meats for a change.

how important is it when feeding raw meat solely, to include veg also?

you need to get a good balance of nutrients and vitamins mate and by feeding fruite and veg you can achieve this ... ie vit c from apples anti carcanogenics from tomatoe vitamin a from cabbage etc etc etc .........
