FOXHUNTER 5,021
Well me and Ratcherman decided to have a look out on his pheasant shoot last night as the birds are in the pens and a litter of cubs has been seen on the place. After lamping the first few stubbles and seeing nothing we were getting a bit dis-heartened. Then we spotted a couple of cubs but shots were not safe Eventually I lamped a cub in a barley field which we could only see as the ground was rising up above the field. Ratcherman knocked this one over and that was no 1 in the bag We continued lamping and it wasnt long before No 2 was in the bag ... I have never seen cubs so small at this time of year , I think everything has been stunted due to the bad and prolonged winter. Anyone shooting decent sized cubs ??? Quote Link to post
