thinking about buyn a mussel for my ferrets to stop them killin down holes they dnt kill big rabbits its the small ones a dnt wont them killin would a mussel stop them from killing ?

Do not do that in any circumstances. Just don't.

Muzzling ferrets is an 'olden days' approach to ferreting. All it does is mean leave your ferret unable to defend itself if it should come up against a rat, or a stoat for example, and ensure that in the event that you lost it, it'll die a long painful death by starvation.

It's a big no no.

Another option wait till the season starts

There can be plenty of young rabbits about even during the "season" Jamie.

To be honest I've never had much bother with ferrets killing young rabbits, it usually takes them no time

at all to kill them then they move on to the next occupant in the bury.
