lynx, wolf & brown bear

Recommended Posts

good point mate.

a dog might have a chance against a lynx but no dog would be able to hunt bear or wolf without the help of a powerful gun.

a few well trained and bred rhodesians would be the dog for that.

i surpose they would but its finding a well bred ridgeback thats the problem. i wouldn't risk any of my dogs on a wolf i would leave it upto someone else. Ridgeback x irish wolfhound maybe decent?

maybe something like the ozzie pigdogs with a bit more bull + a touch of alaunt

what do the yanks use?

i dont think they hunt wolves with dogs but they use hounds for lynx and bear i think. i think somebody who posts on here uses the dogo argentino to hunt lynx, coyotes and bobcats.
