BASC for me, wouldnt wast my money on the BASA slow and crap service

Well if you have money to spend and in my opinion waste then why not spend an extra 40 odd quid for an A4 piece of paper?

Lets face it, may be slow service getting the documents out, but I'm covered from the second my payment is made and hey I saved a small fortune.

I've only been asked about insurance once the rest of my clients dont even think about it. However I do always draw their attention to the fact that I have it.

And I do everything I possibly can to make sure that I nor anyone else is ever going to make any kind of claim.

I don't shoot if its not a safe shot.

it not exactly a waste of money, if it isnt for basc shooting will have a limited future and you would see your shooting rights restricted.

I'd also rather give my money to someone who cares about shooting not their proffit margins.

Olim, this isn't a debate about our shooting, what basc do or do not do for shooters; its simply a question about general insurance cover for airgunners.

The reason for my remarks are as follows:

Ted asked which insurance we use and any recomendations.

People then started giving their answers  which is good.

I gave my answer which is a simple cheaper alternative that at the time and given my financial circumstances was ideal for me.

Then along comes someone to slag off a company like a total :wankerzo4:.

Ted did not ask for those kind of comments did he?

Whats more; I wonder if Sureshot11 has actually dealt with BASA and has he actually had an insurance policy with them?

If not then he would do well to keep libelous remarks such as that to himself

I won't slag of basc because I have not dealt with them. I have heard that they can be just as slow as BASA from someone, but that is hearsay and as I have no experiance of it I wont state it as fact.

So rather than beginning a slanging match can we stick to what has been asked? Makes sense yes?

basa is underwriten by basc so your all insured by the same people :whistling:

I read that BASA was run THROUGH BASC at one point (or in conjunction with BASC) however BASC are underwritten by AXA insurance where as BASA are under written by Zurich I believe (as always I am open to correction)
