4x4 Insurance

Recommended Posts

Can anyone give me the details of some insurance companies that quote on 4x4. Just had a quote of £600 from my company, my current/ready for scrap car is £200 :icon_eek: Any help appreciated as I need to get some quotes and buy a truck quick as having no car is no fun...............

Get on direct line.com,at least you will have an idea what you might be asked to pay, only watch out is sometimes they demand an immobiliser is fitted.

Another good company to try is Footman James (from somewhere near Birmingham,Cradley heath if the memory serves right). :hmm:

Thing is Simon, once you enter the world of "every one hates you 'cos you drive a 4x4",you have to pay for the privelidge of reversing into a Corsa in Brigg Tesco's and not having a scratch on your truck, while the old girl driving the Corsa has a mild heart attack :D

The only cheap 4x4's to insure are Justy's and Suzuki Jimny's,then Daihatsu Sportracks. After that it just cost's and cost's and cost's................even for a shite 4x4 :censored: so get the biggest, meanest most polluting, get the ferk out of my way Grandma, :diablo: truck you can afford and enjoy it :rocker:

'Cos some mincing lttle piss faced,c*ck sniffing little b*m boy, with warts on his parts is gonna tax you to the hilt cos he doesnt like you :tongue2:

I use nfu mutual mate, they are always available to speak to and when i smashed my last van up they coughed up within a fortnight £3300 for an old motor i got at auction for £1600. I was well chuffed, ive had cheaper quotes for my pajero but i think the extra couple of quid is worth paying.

Tesco was the cheapest though.

insure it for buisness use :good:

Name of buisness pest control :D

buisness type voluntary

knocks it down hell of a lot :good: , and it isn't actually lying is it?

Thing i don't understand is when you insure S.d & p it is dearer than individual buisness use, but with buisness use, it also covers you for SD&P. im not complaining....... my insurance is £35 a month on buisness, rather than the £112 it would of cost SD&P
