Witton mate,

wouldnt use them if i were you, ok for standing around in college waiting for some knob to stamp on them to see if they are steel. :11:

They not a snug fit for walking miles, if you got wide feet the metal will rub like feck, especially on slopeing ground, and soon the calf will be around your ankle like an old ladies stockings. :D

You better off saving a few bob and buying something decent, or better still write to Father Christmas.

Cheers bob

I use a pair of those on the building sites and they dont half tire your feet, they are useless yokes, cost me 85 euros 6 weeks ago and they're a complete waste of money,I'm back to the steel toe cap ankle boot. They arent made for country treking, you'd be well tired trapesing about in the country in those, just my opinion.

I had a pair years ago and found them bloody uncomfortable after a few weeks difficult to keep on your feet and on a muddy site always losing them in the s..t.

I was gutted as in those days i was even more skint than i am now and once bought they had to do till they were worn out.

For lamping i use a pair of wellies or goretex lined walking boots.

Can't beat a good pair of leather goretex lined walking boots...and when the mud gets deep - gortex gaiters!
